what bus station is close; North, East, or West? thank you

We are located in the city center, so all bus stations are within the similar distance. East will be more convenient in many ways though (easier access to bus, subway, taxi)

Is it quiet at night?

It depends on days, but usually quiet on weekdays. A little more crowded on weekends so would be a bit more noisy on weekends than weekdays. :)

Wonderful

1) Very near Dongseongro (Seoul's equivalent of Myeongdong/Hongdae), near subways (yes there're 2 nearby stations), near restos and cafes. 2) Staff was very nice, helped me with my questions and etc. 3) The place was exceptionally clean and homey. 4) Towels and slippers are available. 5) Plenty of sockets to share between the beds/occupants.

1) There's no shower room on the 2nd floor, where my room was. The showers are on the 3rd floor, which can only be accessed by the common stairs. Had to go up and down every time I want to shower. 2) No privacy curtains on the beds. Not a requirement but would really appreciate it if they'd have them installed.

If sleeping is not your priority you'll love it

Very central. I liked the staff, they were very nice. The place had a couple of cute details and books.

It felt they had given up in hygiene, in making the place a cosy place and accepted that the location will inevitably attract a type of guest that is not always too considerate.

Great location downtown and good value, but the showers are dingy with no privacy

- Great location: right in the middle of the most popular area of Daegu (near the clubs and downtown) - Only a 6-minute-walk to the nearest subway station, 중앙로역 (Jung-ang-ro Station) - Great value (cheap) - Kind reception desk staff - Comfortable and clean bedrooms

- The bathroom really needs updating and separate shower curtains. Right now, it operates like a big locker room shower: it's just one big shower space with about 6 showers, but because of the lack of shower bars or hanging staff, you have to strip off your clothes by the sink and walk naked among the other random guests to shower. - 2 of the 5 or 6 showers were broken - There are 2 floors of the hostel, but for the guests on the second floor, you have to walk through the locked door and go to the third floor to shower, passing by many other guests. If you just want a peaceful shower, it's a bit frustrating. You also have to either bring your phone with you to the shower or write down the door password, because it's really long and hard to remember. I would suggest adding a separate small shower for the 2nd floor, too. - It can get quite crowded in the lobby area of the 2nd floor because it's cheap and close to the party area. - I would also prefer a sufficient amount of liquid soap in the shower room sink on the 3rd floor and also the bathroom on the 2nd floor.

Very Good

It was my first time in Daegu, so I asked about restaurant and foods about reception, and she was super nice and friendly!

I prefer individual shower room, but there are only curtains to separate with others. At least it is separated men’s room and women’s room so it is okay.

Good quality for the price, convenient location but its really just for sleeping there and not like a hotel. You know what you sign up for and its what you get.

Downside is that you are sleeping in a room with many other people but thats something thats also stated so you know that will be the case.

Staff friendly and it was clean but very loud

- Staff was very friendly and helpful - Using the wash maschine is cheap - It was clean

- It is awfuly loud, the restaurant plays loud music until 2 am even on weekdays - Shower in the third floor, no place to put some things in the shower so I had to leave them on the ground, therefore also no shower gel or shampoo directly in the shower, it was under the sink and felt strange to just grab them? Waterpressure is also low

Very good

Wasn't there for long but the staff was very friendly, the common areas were very fun and as photographed, and it was a very cool location.

The bed mattress was very thin, not such a big deal for me (especially given the price) but may be a deal breaker to others. Also because the location was in a cool area it was kind of loud in my room, didn't prevent me from sleeping and was worth the location.

Great location for a social guesthouse

Welcoming feeling, nice staff, kitchen was big and clean. Very cheap guesthouse for what you get (great location).

Bathroom was on another floor and not really private, (four person-)bedroom was small.

Bad sleep, friendly personnel

Good location in city. Close to lots of restaurants. Personnel very friendly!

Showers are little strange. Had bad nights of slee due to the party street and bad sound insulation.

Bad sleep, good personnel.

The water presure was good and the personnel was outstandingly friendly!

Beds were worse then is normal in Korea. Traveling from Europe. The hostel is located above two very busy streets. Shops in these streets close around 03:00 and the windows are not sound proofed. I would not recoment this hostel if you would like to have a good sleep.
